In conjuction with the American Center for Oriental Research (ACOR) and the Ministry of Tourism (MOT), USAID provided technical assistance to promote cultural and environmental management, site enhancement and development activities in Petra, Wadi Mousa, Jarah, Um Qais and other cultural sites of Jordan
